چکیده

The aim of this article is to study the attenuation transient low-frequency waves in 2D lattices both plane and antiplane problems. main idea that analytical solutions problems mechanics discrete periodic media can be obtained by a method asymptotic inversion Laplace Fourier transforms vicinity quasi-front infinitely long waves; moreover, it possible take into account contribution short waves. Using method, we obtain asymptotics perturbations formulations under local load. Besides, show equations describing motion square lattice represented form two linearly independent wave equations, each which contains one unknown function only. By analogy with theory elasticity, equation describes propagation shear lattice, while other longitudinal As result, shown that, homogeneous infinite load specified such manner either predominantly or are formed. also solved finite difference method. qualitative quantitative correspondence numerical shown.

Wave propagation in two-dimensional periodic lattices.

Plane wave propagation in infinite two-dimensional periodic lattices is investigated using Floquet-Bloch principles. Frequency bandgaps and spatial filtering phenomena are examined in four representative planar lattice topologies: hexagonal honeycomb, Kagomé lattice, triangular honeycomb, and the square honeycomb. These topologies exhibit dramatic differences in their long-wavelength deformatio...

Controlled transport of matter waves in two-dimensional optical lattices.

We propose a method for achieving dynamically controllable transport of highly mobile matter-wave solitons in a driven two-dimensional optical lattice. Our numerical analysis based on the mean-field model and the theory based on the time-averaging approach demonstrate that a fast time-periodic rocking of the two-dimensional optical lattice enables efficient stabilization and manipulation of spa...

Numerical modeling of transient two-dimensional viscoelastic waves

This paper deals with the numerical modeling of transient mechanical waves in linear viscoelastic solids. Dissipation mechanisms are described using the generalized Zener model. No time convolutions are required thanks to the introduction of memory variables that satisfy local-in-time differential equations. By appropriately choosing the relaxation parameters, it is possible to accurately descr...
